Bio / Bibliography

Nick Williamson was born in Takapuna in 1948. He grew up in an old, three-storied house on a cliff that looked out on Rangitoto Island. He often went to the island with his father after fishing in the Rangitoto Channel. He was educated at Auckland and Canterbury Universities and for many years has worked as a Probation Officer. His first book of poems, The Whole Forest, was published by Sudden Valley Press in 2001. He lives in central Christchurch with his friend Madame Yeti and his dog Josh.
