Bio/ Bibliography:

Matthew David Wood is a pallet dwelling ballet patron from Christchurch, where he was born in 1977. Apart from studying at Otago University, Dunedin, from 1995 through to 1999, he has worked in petrol stations, orchards, market gardens, olive groves, and was once an anthropologist on a district council project. He enjoys recordings of music by Schubert, Webern and Lydia Lunch. Not published widely and even less inclined to read for an audience Matthew wishes to stress that the somewhat indifferent reading recorded here for SCAPA is due, in part, to feeling a little over-whelmed at being invited to participate in this project – “Long time listener, the first time was cooler”.

Poems published in Glottis volumes 2-6
