Bio / Bibliography:

Born in Akaroa, 1958. Ko Onawe te taonga. Resident in Rangiora, the father of Hugh, and working in a Waipara vineyard. He says “I’m so immersed in the poetic realm that I have extreme difficulty in finding the answers to the most simple sums.” Eric’s currently chairperson of the Canterbury Poets’ Collective, is deputy editor of Poets Group, the sister press of Sudden Valley Press. He is also involved in The Lost Friday Salon ( which he co-founded with Jeffrey Harpeng), and addicted to most things poetic. His first book, Working Voices, co-authored with John O'Connor has just been published by Hallard Press. He has recently had work in famous reporter 27, Tasmania: and in Contempory Haibun Vol 4 published by Red Moon Press in the USA.
